I just had to make this affinity designer tutorial for you all because I think it's such a cool kind of trick. Using the isometric drawing tools I will show you how to create an isometric cube with rounded corners and smooth edges (using the corner tool and gaussian blur) and it's really quick and easy to achieve. I also show you how to change the colour in a few easy steps. I end this video with a stack of cubes by using power duplicate and repositioning each cube.

Shoutout to Kiavosh Chalian (on Youtube) as he touched upon this trick in a speed art video where he made a cool rectangular character.

Hello Designers and welcome to another Affinity Designer tutorial!
In this video I will show you how to create a realistic design whilst using a stock photo as a reference image. If you want to design along with me I will be doing it step by step. I will show you how to use different effects to create a sense of realism such as 3D, Bevel and Emboss and Gaussian Blur. I will be using the Pen tool to draw out the spoon and also the node tool to fine tune the nodes in the illustration. If you want to learn more about those tools check out my video in the link below.

In this Affinity Designer tutorial I'll show you how to create a basic vector cylinder then turn that into a realistic metallic soda can and tin. I will then use power duplicate to multiply our newly created objects as if we were stocking a shop. Ill cover alot of shortcuts and be using tools such as the corner tool, transform tools, geometry tools and the fill tool.

This how to video is good for beginners, as it's a step by step guide. If you are more of an intermediate and above you can skip the sections to where suits you as i've included time stamps.

Create a retro-looking 3D text, with a long 3D volumetric shadow, in Affinity Designer. It's quite easy to create this text effect. Affinity Designer doesn't have an extrude tool or a 3D tool like Xara and other programs, but if you want to create this text (or any other shape) with a shadow/3D extrusion behind it, follow this easy tutorial.
