This is a story that I came up with - a HORRIBLE day in the life as a UX designer working from home. I've seen so many productive day in the life videos so far, and I'd like to show a day that's nothing near perfect or productive.

As a reminder, it's ok to feel stressed out and not productive. Many things are out of our control, not your fault. I'm a firm believer that bad days are as meaningful as good days :) So let's also celebrate and laugh at the bad days.

That being said, I had so much fun producing and making this video. I hope that it makes you laugh. 2022 is here. Happy new year!

Remote Working UX design and Research Jobs Tips for Work from Home

Hello and welcome to my favourite space!! As a UX Designer and a content creator on YouTube, I spend a lot of time at my desk. But that's great because it's one of my favourite places to be! Okay seriously though, when I first started working from home, I thought: "whoop I can work on the couch or in bed or on top of the coffee table" and honestly I still do sometimes BUT having a work from home setup that's cute and cozy and colourful makes me so happy!

This is the space I edit my YouTube videos, design wireframes and UI in Figma, do meetings as a Senior UX Product Designer and veg out to Netflix (binged Bridgerton S2 this past weekend btw :D) I am so happy that I took the time to make this space my own. As someone that feels a lot of sentimental attachment to things - you'll find that most items are 5+ years old like my mouse and mechanical keyboard lol while others like my macbooks are a bit newer. I have a super hard time getting rid of things especially if they are still functional so tweaking and customizing them has definitely helped me make this space more personalized as my preferences change ^^ I hope you like this video!
