A walk through on how to get your own custom livery car design iRacing using photoshop and uploading with trading paints.

In this sim racing video, I briefly show you how to create, upload and use a custom livery on your car in iRacing. I use photoshop to create the livery and trading paints to upload it to iRacing. I walk you through painting my Skip Barber Formula 2000 car in photoshop, using my custom orange and grey colors. I add my website branding to the nose of the car, add my YouTube channel name to the rear of the car, along with a few sponsors, Nvidia and Logitech, on the side pods of my car.

Part 1 of 4 - Today on Surviving the First Lap, I will show you how to use the iRacing Car Templates to custom paint your car scheme or livery. This is for the beginner and I will be using PhotoShop in the example. In Part 1, we will discuss the templates, where to download them and what is in the file. In Part 2, I will explain how to paint your car using the templates as an example for very quick custom schemes. We will discuss color separation of the files, how to change the colors and how to organize your files for logos, pics and texts. This video gives and introduction to using Trading Paints to run custom paint schemes on your iRacing car. The video focuses on the Legends 34 Ford, but the process is the same for all iRacing cars.

Decided to do something different for once! I love to paint my cars whenever I'm not racing so I thought I'd show y'all the process of me designing a car through a timelapse. I brought a BMW M4 GT3 since it's such a beast of a car in most of GT races nowadays... but it needed my "silver frost" touch so I went to work on it right away. Hope y'all enjoy the video!
