Clara Lieu was an Adjunct Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design from 2007-2020. Her artwork has been exhibited at the International Print Center NY, the Currier Museum, Childs Gallery, the Davis Museum, and more. Lieu received an artist fellowship from the MA Cultural Council, has written for the NY Times, and lectured at Brown University, the NAEA conference, and in Vancouver & China. Join MA Data Visualisation graduates as they introduce their final major projects through short films, critical enquiry and experimentation.

Dispersed across the globe, MA Data Visualisation 2020 graduates come together to present Convergence: Data, Design, Research, an online event introducing their final major projects through short films addressing the research, critical enquiry, and experimentation that constitutes their work and practice.

Tackling complex social and cultural issues with innovative and experimental approaches to media and medium, this year’s graduates explore the context and test the boundaries of the discipline of data visualisation and information design.

Creating both tangible and digital outcomes, these projects interrogate the concept of digital texture, offering new perspectives on what it is to know and share knowledge through data and visualisation practice.

This event took place as part of the London College of Communication Postgraduate Showcase, celebrating some of the most inspiring new work across design, media and screen.
