Sometimes on adventures you need to bring all the gear. The CC12 by Prometheus Design Werx helps with that.

The CC12, which is a 12 gallon cargo container, is set up for adventure. Made of a ruggedized PVC Tarpaulin material, it is impervious to most weather and stout enough to stand up to years of use. Simply drop a 12 gallon tote into it, or just it as a stand alone container with its own internal organization.

I've used them on my 2020 and 2021 Coast to Coast Tour as well as my grab and go range bag. They work great for short trips or month long excursions. And hold up incredibly well to wear.

Seriously, if you haven't heard of Prometheus Design Werx (PDW) what rock have you been hiding under? These guys make quality designed gear/items that are typically small batch runs, so get it while it's hot. You like gear? Yep, I like gear too.

The AR Hoodie, is an amazing piece of gear that I missed out on their first run in Syth Lord Black (badass). Well, they finally released the hoodie again in Machine Mineral Gray last week which I promptly snatched up.

It's 9504 Polatrec Windstopper Fleece, has a casual sweatshirt design, ykk double zippers, patch panels on each sleeve, and a Major League Hood (MLH). That's right, I said Major League Hood.

Take a look at the video, and if you're on the fence, just do it. You'll love it....at the very least, you'll like it a lot.

Today I take a look at the Prometheus Design Werx 24 Liter S.H.A.D.O. Pack (Suspension Haul Access Durability Organized). While it is a incredibly well made and thought out EDC (Every Day Carry) backpack, I've stretched it's use a bit...

I've take the SHADO Pack on a 30 mile backpacking trip, another 15 mile hike, numerous trips into the back country on day hikes as well as skiing and riding snow mobiles. They pack excels in organizing your every day stuff, but can absolutely be stretched to other adventures thanks to some well through out design elements.

I also appreciate the pack belt which is removable and makes it easy to attach a holster if you want to.

If you are looking to add some true functional upgrades to your Swiss Army Knife, check out the SAK Scales by Prometheus Design Werx. In this video I'll show you how to install them.

The process is pretty straight forward. Big picture we are going to remove the old scales from the Swiss Army Knife, clean the knife if need be, then apply a little bit of epoxy to our new G10 SPD (Special Projects Division) SAK Scales from PDW, put them in place, clamp them till the epoxy sets up, and bam! A upgraded Swiss Army Knife.

While a lot of beanies are made out of "wool" this one is next level. Made out of an amazing Merino Wool and actually knitted into the shape of the hat, rather than a tube that is simply cut and re-sewn.

We take a closer look at the Stealth hoodie (LT) in Deception green from Triple Aught Design. This particular jacket is in size small. Miguel usually wears size small shirts and has a 30 inch waist so that you can get an idea of the fitment. This jacket is made from Polartec NeoShell material. It is manufactured in Portugal (not China!!!). This jacket looks and feels awesome and we’re excited to test it in varied environments and use cases. Check back for that video in the future. Softshell pants are awesome, especially when the weather turns wet, cold and windy. It took me some searching to find a pair with the features I needed back in 2010. But eventually I found this pair of softshell pants by T.A.D. (Triple Aught Design). They are loaded with features that have served me well over in Afghanistan, as well as backpacking through the mountains state-side.

Patrick Ma was the founder of Triple Aught Design and designed and created the Dauntless Knife concept. After leaving TAD he started up Prometheus Design Werx an outdoor and lifestyle outfitter. After rocking this DA Hoodie V2 by Prometheus Design Werx for about a year, I have a some thoughts on it...

In a word, its Rad. The DA Hoodie is a pretty good go-to stand alone piece that offers a lot of flexibility. Between the material it is made of: Polartech WindPro 9504, the DWR finish, design and construction... ...it is well suited for all kinds of adventure. Wear it alone or layer up for extreme cold.
