The Journal to Unleash Your Creativity - Design Tool Tuesday, Ep13Episode 13: The Journal to Unleash Your Creativity This week’s pick: Steal Like an Artist Journal by Austin Kleon. Just like his book with the same title (reviewed couple of weeks ago here: youtu.be/JdtSkp5pJ_s), the journal acts as a supplement to spark creativity. Every page of this thicker than the actual book journal is filled with ingenious and unpredictable prompts that force you to think outside the box. Just like Steal Like an Artist book, it's meant to inspire one to combine the raw ideas from the environment and one's culture and put them to better, innovative ways. This is especially useful for designers who need to ideate and come up with new solutions. As always if you like what you see and hear pick up the journal here: and the actual book here: In this new weekly UX design, user research and product design tools series I'll share some of the best picks I've encountered to date. You'll find out about the best apps, extensions, websites and other helpful tools. A Week In The Life Of A UX Designerhey hey hey~ join me in my last week of working as a senior UX Designer in 2021! This week was supposed to be a quiet one but it ended up being kind of normal lol Between working with developers, doing a heuristic evaluation, solving design problems in Figma, and creating workflows with our design system it was a great way to end the work year! I am still feeling a bit of burn out but I'm happy I was able to stay productive. Also, how do you guys like the new video editing and aesthetic? o.O I've been experimenting more with fonts and music~ I am currently thoroughly enjoying my holidays with video games, food, and sleep haha I hope all of you are doing well during the holiday season. This is my last video for 2021 and I want to say a huge thank you for watching my videos this year ^^ I'm so thankful for all of your support. Best wishes and stay warm! How Senior Designers Wireframe | 5 Best UX UI Design Processes To Create Website or App WireframesWATCH MORE 👉: youtube.com/c/Userfacet/videos SUBSCRIBE HERE 👉: youtube.com/c/Userfacet/ Wireframes are very important in UX design. Wireframes represent the design of the final product. People have different styles of wireframing and you can't say that there is only one single way of wireframing. But there are common styles in the way senior designers wireframe. One of the things they do is that they create multiple iterations of core pages first. Before trying to wireframe the entire product, they get the core experience as solid as possible. It's such efficient use of time and it brings in the maximum result. Another thing you could do is refraining from using dummy text! It's a simple hack, but it goes a long way in getting the right look and feel for the final product. There are many painful instances where companies have to redo the design after the product delivery because the design couldn't accommodate the actual data. You can watch the special hacks that senior designers use in the video. Let us know what you think about it. What's your special hack when it comes to designing a wireframe. Let us know in the comments! 0:09 - A better-designed wireframe equals a better final product Follow us on Twitter: twitter.com/userfacet #UX #UIDesign #UXDesignProcess |
